Review: secure comfort nightguard I have tried all three guards now and this one is the best. The problem from my earlier review has been overcome with perseverance as the guard gradually softens to fit your mouth, and the slightly wider strap on this model make it now very comfy to wear. I am about to order my third one as the bite plates do wear out. Mine seem to be lasting me about a year.

Review: Standard Night Guard After months of waking up with headaches which I put down to dehydration, I visited my Doctor as I had developed chronic earache. There was no infection and my Doctor diagnosed teeth grinding, which my dentist confirmed also. I did some research online and found your mouth guards. What a blessing!!! I cannot believe that something this simple has made such a difference to my life but it has.

Review: Sleep Right have a good night. Hello, I have suffered from teeth grinding for many years now, which was costing me a fortune in fillings and root treatment, I was only filling the dentists pocket! I took up the option when the dentist offered me the creation of a custom mouthguard, where they took an impression of my upper teeth. This cost about £80 and was okay to begin with but then actually made the problem worse as the enlarged shield during grinding was pushing my front incisors against my bottom teeth causing them to crowd. The constant headaches did not go away either. I was so fed up of the constant pain in my jaw and head that I went looking for an alternative, thats when I came across the Sleep Right Guard. After reading the comments I thought I would give it a try, anything to relieve the pain. WELL…….I am pleased to say the product is excellent, I have been using it for about a month now and the pain in my jaw and head are now gone when I wake up. The design of the product ensures your teeth and jaw are held apart, which is great. It only took me only one night to get comfortable with it, the gums take about one week to get used to it as I experienced some mild rubbing. I was a bit concerned that rubbing marks from my teeth where appearing on the guards only after a week and afraid that I would wear through them quickly but I have experienced no further wear so I hope it stays that way. There is also a another Sleep Right Guard, Dura Comfort for severe teeth grinders which I assume has tougher guards. Initially I was going to buy this but thought I would try the cheaper model first, if I was to replace it I would certainly purchase the Dura Comfort for a longer lasting guard.So….to recap If you are thinking of buying this product, go ahead and get it. You will not regret it! Wake up with no more pain. In my opinion don't waste your money or time on the impression mouthguard offered by the dentist.

Review: Mouth Guard I had been advised to get a mouth guard by the dentist, who reminded me that if I continue to grind my teeth, they will not grow back and I will struggle later in life! I didn't realise it was that bad so I decided to try a cheaper product from the internet before going for the dentist's expensive solution. All the comments on this site helped me to make the decision to get the comfort night guard. I was surprised at how uncomforatble it was to start with. It made my mouth water a lot, making it uncomfortable and I used to wake half way through the night and remove it. However, I would wake in the morning clenching my jaw even more. So I persevered and about 10 nights later my mouth was accepting it, the mouth watering has stopped (I put it in just before sleep time, rather than half an hour before) I now sleep all the way through the night. I find that I clench my jaw a lot less during the day too. It must have been really bad but hadn't connected all my symptoms of sleepless nights, sensitive teeth in the mornings and shooting pains up the side of my face. Now I am having very restful nights. I am so pleased I tried this night guard and would recommend it.

Review: SleepRight Secure Comfort Night-Guard I was clenching my teeth through the night (and probably in the daytime without realising it), cracking teeth and fillings and waking myself up. My dentist suggested waiting another six months and then fitting me for a guard if necessary. I did not want to break any more fillings, so I decided to try the SleepRight Secure Comfort Night-Guard. It is a blessing. It took a while to get used to it, but now, after a few months, I sleep right through the night for the first time that I can remember. I do bite onto the guard in the night, but it does not wake me or cause any damage. I am practising to relax my jaw when I sleep so that the guard will be there only as a safeguard. I would make two points. I am sensitive to things going in my mouth (like joke teeth). The first time I tried the guard it made me gag. I tried again and again, lasting only a few seconds. Then I had a rest. A little later I tried to fit the guard again. This time no gagging at all. So if you do experience any problem with gagging, just practise, take a rest, then try again. I do notice the guard, but I can live with it, and it is better than the alternative of broken teeth. If I have been clenching onto the guard, I feel some discomfort in my TMJ (although not when my jaw has been relaxed). Through the day I do some easy jaw exercises (opening my mouth wide, moving my lower jaw forwards and side to side just a couple of minutes in total). After the exercises my TMJ operates smoothly and my bite is normal.

Review: SleepRight Secure Comfort Night-Guard I suffered from headaches for years! During a visit to my dentist he asked if I suffered headaches and suggested this may be because I grind my teeth, he said that he could make me a mouth guard which would cost around 200 GBP! As I wasnt sure if this would work I decided to get this mouth guard at a fraction of the cost. IT WORKS! I didnt even have the 'couple of nights' to get used to it, as soon as it was in I slept well and now 3 weeks on have not had a single headache. I would recommend this to anybody who has been advised they grind their teeth!

Review: Review Title I've been using these night-guards for the last few years and now don't know what I'd do without them - they are so much more comfortable than the kind of guard I used to get from my dentist. They haven't stopped me from grinding my teeth (I have given up hope that anything can cure me) and I'm now on my third guard as I do eventually manage to bite through them - I have found that the deluxe model is more durable than the standard one. In my opinion they are worth every penny - without them I suffered from constant toothache together with the anxiety that I was slowly destroying my teeth. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Review: Review Title This cured my jaw/ face/ neck/ pain within about aweek. It was very comfortable to sleep with and did not slip at all in the night. It took about two nights to get used to sleeping with it but now I wouldn't be without it!

Review: It's a good cheaper alternative I purchased this out of pure desperation for my boyfriend and I to get a good night's sleep. I've had it a couple of weeks and I'm still trying to get used to it. I often find by the time the morning comes it's fallen out of my mouth and my boyfriend is nudging me to say I'm grinding again. It has helped but I think my troubles with it is purely down to it being the wrong size for me. I've noticed I haven't had as many headaches as I usually get and I'm sleeping a lot heavier than usual without waking up up to 15 times a night from my grinding. I have also noticed the bite plate on one side has started to split from the pressure of my grinding. I can't afford to keep buying one of these things every few weeks.

Review: sleep right dental guard This the is third type I have tried. I had a very expensive dentist one which my son lost, but it was so uncomfortable. I was about to order a softer one when I found out about off the shelf products. I then tried a cheaper alternative which was also uncomfortable and I kept spitting it out at night. This one is brilliant. The comfort level is fantastic. The clever design means you dont feel the front piece which is ver soft and also very clever, the side bite pads dont protrude into the mouth. the are just wide enough for the teeth. Result, a nearly free mouth with just a little sensation of the side pad, not distressing. I have kept the guard in all night and am not even in a rush to take it out in the morning. May be able to wear this during the day as my dentist recommentds day and night use for my problem. I feel as if my teeth are staying apart more just from wearing this even during the day anyway.highly recommended, got the middle one, dont try a cheaper guard.

Review: SleepRight Secure Comfort Night-Guard This really did the job. I was able to sleep well without worrying about the guard slipping. The jaw and neck pain ceased after the second night. I would reccomend it to anyone as a substitute for a more expensive version from the dentist.

Review: Review Title Great product, my sleep pattern has improved from day one. It took a little getting used to but after a week I am now comfortable with it. The only issue I have with the guard is the price, whilst I appreciate it is a lot cheaper than a costom made unit, £55 still seems a lot for what it is. Dont get me wrong, I would buy it again in a heartbeat because it "does what it says on the tin".

Review: Excellent product. As a life long grinder this is a great product and I wear it as opposed to the very cumbersome gag-inducing device made by my dentist-albeit 20 years ago. This is my second guard , the first objected to a hot wash in the dishwasher- along with other tooth products!

Review: SleepRight Secure Comfort Night -Guard Brilliant ! After first night of wearing no more pain in teeth andjaw. My wife also says I snore less. Easy to fit and comfortable to wear. I was quoted £198 by my dentist to make me a full mouthguard am so glad I tried the cheaper option first.

Review: Review Title I have been using the guard for a few weeks now and it seems to be working well. I used to wake up with a sore jaw and a dull headache, but that has all gone since using the guard. It takes a couple of nights to get used to and I found it definitely helps to put it in half an hour before going to sleep. It also gives me the peace of mind that I won't wear down or fracture any teeth. Definitely worth the price, compared to what you would pay for a fitted guard through your dentist.

Review: Review Title When I bought this I was undecided between this version and the 'slim' one. I bought this one, but it is realistically a bit big for me I think (I get a slightly gagging feeling when I put it in and have had to stop using it for a couple of days at a time on occassion when it had disturbed the inside of my mouth). I will now try the slim version instead. I previously had a "full" mouthguard made by my dentist, i.e. one that fits over all the top teeth including the front ones. But this is much more comfortable and I think my grinding is on the sides and not the front.

Review: SleepRight Secure Comfort Night-Guard Feels light in the mouth and is great at keeping the teeth apart, especially the front ones which now effectively have nothing to grind on. However the front strap digs uncomfortably into the gums beneath the teeth at the front. Unfortunately, because of this I have stopped wearing the device and will be searching for an alternative.

Review: Seems to work I have been using the guard for a week or two now and I think it's working, although it might take a little while longer to know for certain that I've stopped trying to grind my teeth. I have an odd-shaped mouth and was a little concerned it wouldn't fit properly, but so far I have had no problems and it is quite comfortable.

Review: sleepright guard a week into using the guard and i'm enjoying waking up without painful bitemarks to my tongue and inside cheeks! Got used to the guard pretty quickly and it's not uncomfortable at all. I would recommend it to people who chew / grind during their sleep. It certainly stops you doing that.

Review: It was quite strange when my dentist advised me to use a bite guard when I went to seek help for my clicking jaw thinking I had some sort of dental problems.

SleepRight Dental Guard has definitely helped my jaw pain and reduce the clicking problems I used to suffer every time I opened my mouth wide. I am also more aware now, how to unclench my teeth to allow my jaw to relax even when I am not wearing the guard. I am very happy with the device.

Review: Well worth the (minimum) effort!! Having suffered with chronic headaches, teeth, shoulder and sleep problems for a number of years, I still think I was in a state of 'denial' even after reading an article on Bruxism in an English newspaper and taking the step to do something about it. After research I chose SleepRight and ordered a mouthguard.
Even though it took me a while to use it (scared) after its arrival, I have to say that I would recommend this to everyone with any kind of symptoms.
The first morning after using the guard I felt completely refreshed and realised what I had been missing.
I feel that I have more energy, am less weary and headaches are gone. I wish I had found out about this before!

Review: Secure comfort guard The guard stopped me from clamping my teeth together in my sleep.

Minus point - the top of the guard is uncomfortable as it rubs against the gum above my eye-tooth where the gum is receding slightly
